Document Proofread (DPR)

Activity available under: Marcoms Accelerator, Content Creation, Media Communications and Marketing Management services.

Scope: up to 400 words, up to two passes

Credit value: 1

Description

We proofread copy you supply us.

Definition

The ‘proofread’ includes the correction of typos and tweaks to grammar. If appropriate, we will also suggest how you may wish to change the structure and/or flow of the material.

The Process

Copy must be supplied in a Word document, though we will work with PDFs for an additional credit. If you do supply a PDF, which must be of the ‘digital/searchable’ type and NOT an ‘image-only’ scan, we will copy the text into a Word document, and conduct the proofread in that.

We use the Track Changes and Comments features in Word so that you have sight of our changes and suggestions.

We then send you the Word document.

If we make suggestions regarding how your material might be restructured (and that might include the deletion of some copy and addition of other material), and you act on those suggestions, you are welcome to return the document to us for another proofread, which constitutes as the second pass.
