The ‘Video’ is a run through of the PowerPoint presentation.
The Process
Ideally this would be a presentation we have prepared for you (as an Origination or a Rework) as we know it will contain detailed speaker notes and indicators of when to trigger animations (e.g. text and image reveals).
We will work with you beforehand to determine if all slides need to be used. For example, it might be that the presentation was used for a trade event but now you only need a four- or five-minute version for placing on YouTube, social media and/or your website.
We will do a number of dry runs via Zoom, GoToMeeting or MS Teams – i.e. presenting to you and your colleagues so that you have an indication of what the video will look like. It is your opportunity to suggest tweaks, and we will change the script (and if need be the on-screen text and images).
We ask that you confirm the content, flow and pace of the planned video are what you are after. We then make a recording (though not the call with you and your colleagues). We use Vidyard for screen and audio capture, and a professional condenser mic and pop filter for PC interface.
