Description

Videos are becoming an increasingly important aspect of content marketing.

Definition

The copy will be a combination of ‘from scratch’ and any background material currently available (e.g. your existing marketing material) or any which you make available.

The Process

Copy is typically generated against a verbal brief. In some cases, a written brief may be supplied/required. The writing process will include a brief interview with you and/or your colleagues – and most certainly the person/people that will be in the video.

The script will be produced under strict version control, and (towards the end of the process) you will be asked to approve a specific draft version or supply an amended version that will be taken to be fully approved.

However, IF this is a script that will be used for video we are recording and producing for you then we need only have a ‘near final’ before the recording; i.e. there will be scope to make last-minute changes, even on the teleprompter.
